Carlos graduated from the Autonomous University of Nayarit, where he earned a BA in Communication/Media specializing in Educational Communication. He did research in the field of communication at the National University of Colombia.

One of his most memorable academic experiences is the exchange program at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma of Puebla, where he met students from Spain, Colombia, Argentina, the Netherlands, Peru, and France.

Carlos has graduated with honors, and he also participated in several creative writing competitions. He loves analogous and digital photography and cinematography. He has a passion for reading and writing, the social sciences, cultural studies, and educational research. He thinks that becoming a part of the Harkness Institute team is a dream come true. He teaches with passion because he believes that he has the future of Mexico in his hands…and that his students will be leaders that can eventually change the world!
